Less power, less love.
For a number of reasons, ,a href="https://games.highdefdigest.com/12079/project_cars_ps4.html">'Project Cars' has remained a unique project on the horizon, despite its traditional take on the racer simulation genre. Beautiful graphics, authentic vehicles and realistic driving all put the game in direct competition with the better-funded, well known 'Gran Turismo' and 'Forza' franchises. Still, 'Project Cars' mantains its superiority. The one thing developer Slightly Mad Studios was doing different? A Wii U version.
It's been revealed, however that the Wii U version of the game will release in 2015. The Xbox One, PS4 and Windows PC versions are coming out in November of this year.

As the only true-to-life racing simulator on the books for Wii U, owners of the console are likely to be disapointed. The game's official FAQ states the Steam version is also slated for 2015, separately from Windows.
Kirton, a representative for Slightly Mad Studios, explained in another tweet the team needed extra time to ensure the best experience. No matter which way you look at it, though, it seems the team is prioritizing the Xbox One and PS4 versions, which ironically have much steeper competition from the likes of 'Forza Horizon 2' and 'DriveClub' during this holiday season.
Even stranger is it seems the Wii U version is the most anticipated, according to a poll conducted on the game's official website. The PC version follows in second place, while the PS4 and Xbox One versions are the least anticipated. Notably, the poll separates Steam OS and Windows as separate releases, which combined would tally larger than the Wii U.
To tide Wii U owners over, here's a trailer for a version coming out this year. Sorry about that.
