Spoiler: A lot of things get smacked with a keyblade.
Today, at Japan's annual anime/manga convention Jump Festa, Square Enix released a brand new hybrid trailer showing off both their weird compilation project, 'Kingdom Hearts 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue', and a quick glimpse at 'Kingdom Hearts III'.
The bulk of 'Kingdom Hearts 2.8' is made up by the newly remastered 'Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance', but will also toss in cinematics from browser-only prequel 'Kingdom Hearts Unchained' and a special brand new chapter taking place after the events of 'Birth By Sleep'. 'Kingdom Hearts III' is of course, 'Kingdom Hearts III', and supposedly the final game in the series. One assumes because they ran out of random words to slap together for subtitles.
Check out the new trailer below. '2.8' will be out sometime next year. Who the hell knows when 'Kingdom Hearts III' is hitting, especially now that director Tetsuya Nomura now has a 'Final Fantasy VII' remake to contend with.
