You spoke, Square Enix listened.
Shortly after 'Final Fantasy Type-0' hit, Square Enix sent out a survey to the folks lucky enough to nab the 'Final Fantasy XV' demo, asking their opinion on some of the game's elements. We're about to find out just how much of it they took to heart, as Square Enix will be releasing an update to the game on June 9th, starting at 8am PDT/11am EDT on both Xbox One and PS4.
The announcement was made via Square Enix's Active Time broadcast, where development on the game was discussed at length. One of the other big revelations from the broadcast is that in the process of morphing 'Final Fantasy XV' into what it is from the ashes of 'Versus XIII', a few things ended up not making the cut. Namely, Stella, a female character featured prominently in the early trailers. She's been entirely axed, replaced by a heretofore unseen character named Luna.
You can watch the whole presentation here for the skinny on development.
