Why? Because they love you.
Playstation Music has officially been out for a year, and it's been a rousing success, by all accounts. From this gamer's side, having just blown through 3/4 of Doom with a custom playlist full of Slayer tracks has been a blessing. And Spotify's looking to celebrate.
From now until June 30th, Spotify is offering three months of Premium service--as in, ad-free, and the ability to download tracks for offline use--for 99 cents. There's of course a couple catches: One, you can't have used a free trial of Premium at any point in the past. Two, signing up for the trial is tied directly to being able to log in with a PSN ID. Yes, you can use your subscription on multiple devices if you so desire (and trust, controlling the tracks playing on PS4 using a smartphone or tablet is slick as hell), but the sign up has to be done with a Playstation account.
Head over here for the link. Enjoy the music.
