New update rebalances characterafter months of complaints
Nintendo has released a new patch for both the WiiU and 3DS 'Smash Bros' titles, but remained completely silent on what exactly the patch was meant to do, leaving it up to the sleuthing skills of the internet to figure it out. Among some logical, expected changes, like the addition of Mewtwo related items and details into the game, comes one that 'Smash' players have been praying for since the game's release: Diddy Kong has officially been nerfed, with damage for many of his attacks scaled back.
The news is a pleasant surprise for players who got the impression from series creator Masahiro Sakurai that the game was done being balanced back in December. The Reddit post is catching a few other minor changes to the rest of the roster as well, but this appears to be the only major oneto make a huge a difference in how most folks will play.
