Classes and customization detailed in new footage.
In case you were wondering what exactly you're doing with that avatar you made at the start of 'The Phantom Pain''s campaign, Konami has released the answer, via an 11-minute video showing off how 'Metal Gear''s multiplayer component will work when it launches on October 6th.
In it, we see the customization options--and yes, you can create female soldiers--the three classes you can choose, as well as the game's twist on a typical deathmatch, where kills will definitely count for points, but you also have the consistent option of using Fultons to balloon folks off the battlefield. Because, as we should all be aware now, Fultons just never, ever get old.
The video also reveals that both Ocelot and Snake will be playable during the mode, with Snake's Rocket Punch making the transition, as well as a cool ability of Ocelot's to ricochet bullets to hit enemies. Take a few minutes out of your busy schedule of Fultoning dudes and check this out.
