'Dragon Quest Heroes' and the 'Final Fantasy Type-0 HD' PC version will also be hands-on.
Come August, Square Enix will be coming down hard on Cologne, Germany, flexing all of its power franchises at Gamescom, though only a select few will actually be playable.
'Just Cause 3,' set to hit systems this December, will be playable in its worldwide consumer hands-on debut. Also playable at the conference will be 'Dragon Quest Heroes: The World Tree's Woe and the Blight Below,' a PS4 RPG set to drop in October. The upcoming PC version of 'Final Fantasy Type-0 HD' will be available for congoers to play, alongside some already-released games like 'Life is Strange' and 'Final Fantasy XIV: Heavensward.'
Several of the publisher's heavy hitters will, unfortunately, not be available to play, but they will be featured in presentations and demonstrations. The upcoming entries in the 'Hitman' and 'Deus Ex' franchises will be feautred in live theater demos, and the biggest stage is reserved for 'Final Fantasy XV.' Gamescom attendees will have the chance to see presentations and, possibly, get some new information about 'Final Fantasy XV' if they make their way over to the Square Enix booths.
Gamescom will run from August 5–9 in Cologne, Germany.
