Up to eight controllers and Kinect can enter the fray.
Microsoft has an area of the company where different employess and interns come together to tinker, and one of the results of that effort is 'Voice Commander' for the Xbox One. The Microsoft Garage project is a combination RTS and top-down shooter that works with normal controllers as well as with voice commands through Kinect. Here's the description from Microsoft:
"Voice Commander, a Microsoft Garage project, is a fast paced, space themed, RTS and top-down shooter combo. Pick up a controller and work with Vox using voice commands to try to stop relentless attacks. Voice Commander can be played with up to eight controllers, and anyone in the room can issue voice commands."
The game is free from the Xbox store right now and checks in at 369.45 MB. (Order here.)
