There's still time to nab the free game incentive.
Nintendo has had a heck of a week. From the new Zelda footage, to the all-consuming Wii 'Super Smash Bros.' matches, to a short list of eye-brow raising announcements, the big N's HD console has punched its way big into the minds of many gamers. With that in mind, it's amazing worth considering purchasing 'Mario Kart 8' while the free gamer is still in effect. Those who purchase 'Mario Kart 8' (in digital, stand alone or bundle form) and register the game with Club Nintendo before July 31 will get to choose one free eShop title from the following list: 'New Super Mario Bros. U,' 'Pikmin 3,' 'The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD,' and 'Wii Party U.'
Even better, right now Amazon has 'Mario Kart 8' on sale for only $48.78 (19% off the normal price).
From the High-Def Digest Review:
"It turns out Nintendo can do HD quite well. As a bona fide Nintendo staple, coming off its most successful home console release in the Wii version, refinement has ever been the call, and now on the Wii U the series has arguably reached its most polished state while boasting both HD visuals and a robust set of online capabilities."
