Friends, parents, and drama.
Square Enix has shared a developer diary for Dontnod's 'Life is Strange,' and with the game's first episode coming at the end of the month, the extra look at the game is very revealing. Naturally, 'Life is Strange' carries with it notions of story-driven games like Telltale's 'The Walking Dead' or even the Quantic Dream games, but as disclosed by members of the team, 'Life is Strange' is teasing a story worth getting invested in. There is a dynamic between the main character Max, and her friend Chloe that seems a deeper than many video game stories attempt to offer. Chloe's family life and recent history appears to be fertile ground for drama.
Episode 1 of 'Life is Strange' is due out on January 30th and is priced at $4.99, with episodes 2-5 available for one price of $16.99. Alternatively, all five episodes can be had for $19.99.
