With 100 percent less Torbjorn.
Blizzard's MOBA 'Heroes of the Storm' is no stranger to borrowing from the developer's smash hit 'Overwatch' to fill out its character roster (Zarya will be joining Tracer as a playable character next month), but now 'Heroes' is adapting another facet of the team shooter: it's MVP and commendation system.
At the end of a round of 'Overwatch,' one player is singled out as performing the Play of the Game, after which different players are awarded with medals for specific in-game feats. All players are then free to give a "virtual thumbs-up," as Blizzard calls it, to a player they thought was exceptional.
The same system, with a few small adjustments, are coming to 'Heroes of the Storm' in the game's next patch. The Play of the Game will be replaced with a more general MVP title, which can be awarded to any players, no matter if they won or lost.
That MVP then takes center stage among four other award-winners for the commendation voting. Players can be awarded for things like capturing the most Mercenary camps, best killing spree, and stunning enemy players for the longest time.
