Let's see if that delay paid off.
'Sonic Boom: Fire & Ice,' the next 3DS game to come out of Sega's 'Sonic Boom' reboot franchise, has a release date once more, now targeting September 27.
According to Game Informer, Sega announced the game's new release date at the company's SXSW panel. The 3DS title, developed by Sanzaru Games, was originally slated for a 2015 release, a year after the first round of 'Sonic Boom' games, but was subsequently delayed.
The 'Sonic Boom' games, which kicked off in 2014 with the poorly received 'Rise of Lyric' on the Wii U and 'Shattered Crystal' on the 3DS, are one part of Sega's reboot of the Sonic cast of characters, which also includes the animated TV show of the same name on Cartoon Network.
