Sony is rolling out a rare update for PS4 consoles today, granting them the power of the 3D Blu-Ray.
Though Sony hasn't been so keen to advertise improvements in the way Microsoft has for the Xbox One, there's definitely a competitive vibe to this one. Microsoft announced just over a week ago that the Xbox One would recieve 3D Blu-Ray support through the console's August update.
The PS4 udpate is rolling out right now, living up to this tweet from last week.
Coming next week: PS4 system software update 1.75 adds 3D Blu-ray film support. Woo-hoo!
