Two new titles inbound for the 360.
The Xbox 360 Games with Gold program, which grants Xbox Gold members permanent ownership of certain downloadable games, continues to offer downloadable 360 titles. Major Nelson has just announced April's titles, and they may be the most recent titles to be featured.
The first title is IO Interactive's 'Hitman: Absolution,' which will be free from April 1st through April 16th and is normally $19.99. 'Hitman: Absolution' is the first 'Hitman' title since 'Hitman: Blood Money,' and it was released in Novmeber of 2012, making it one of the more recent titles for the Games with Gold Program. 'Absolution' has been a devisive title, as many fans of 'Blood Money' and 'Contracts' were not pleased with many of 'Absolution's modern action title features.
The second half of April will feature Tequila Works 'Deadlight,' a 2.5D post-apocalyptic title, which will be free from the 16th through the end of the month and is normally $14.99. 'Deadlight' is one best examples of visually compelling 2.5D games, though it's actual gameplay falls well short of titles like 'Shadow Complex.' 'Deadlight' was released in August of 2012.
Xbox Live Gold Members need to be sure to download the free games while they are available, and unlike PS Plus games, Games with Gold do not require a continued Xbox Gold memebrship.
