Warner has confirmed its latest classic release for high-def, bringing the musical favorite 'Gigi' to Blu-ray in late-March.
Previously released as a lavish two-disc DVD last year, Warner will bring the Leslie Caron classic to Blu-ray on March 31 as a special edition loaded with extras.
Comparable to the standard DVD, bonus features include audio commentary with Caron and film historian Jeanine Basinger, the "Thank Heaven! The Making of Gigi" documentary, a pair of vintage shorts ("The Million Dollar Nickel ," "The Vanishing Duck" and the theatrical trailer.
Included on a second disc is a complete alternate version of the film, the 1949 non-musical interpretation starring Daniele Delorme and directed by Jacqueline Audry.
There are no final tech specs as of yet, but we'll keep you posted.
Suggested retail price for the Blu-ray has been set at $39.98.
