It will be maiden bonfires and booze for both next-gen formats, when Warner Home Video brings 'The Wicker Man' and 'Beerfest' to high-def on January 30.
The two titles represent the studio's first HD announcements of the New Year, and both promise to be quite healthy, with each including an unrated version of the film in 1080p/VC-1 video transfers, plus all the same supplemental features as their standard-def DVD counterparts.
As has become custom with Warner, the studio will include a Dolby TrueHD track on the HD DVD version of 'The Wicker Man' only.
Retail has been set at $28.99 for each title on both formats.
Full specs and cover art can be found in our HD DVD Release Schedule and Blu-ray Release Schedule under January 30, 2007.
