'Twister' Storms to Blu-ray, HD DVD in 2008
Fri Sep 14, 2007 at 11:00 AM ETTags: Disc Announcements, Warner (all tags)
In an early announcement, Warner Home Video has confirmed it will bring 'Twister' to Blu-ray and HD DVD this January.
In the first major next-gen release to be officially announced for the new year, the 1996 blockbuster is set to blow onto both high-def formats January 8.
Given the long lead time of the announcement, there are no specs nor supplements available as of yet. However, the studio plans to debut a new two-disc DVD special edition of the film on the same day, so early indicators look good for fully-loaded next-gen editions.
List price for the Blu-ray and HD DVD editions is $28.99 a pop.
As always, we'll keep you posted as soon as final specs come in. In the meantime, you'll find the latest disc details for 'Twister' linked from our Blu-ray Release Schedule and HD DVD Release Schedule, where it's indexed under January 8.
