Warner has announced a February Blu-ray and HD DVD release date for the Tommy Lee Jones-Charlize Theron drama, 'In the Valley of Elah.'
From Oscar-winning 'Crash' director Paul Haggis, 'In the Valley of Elah' was the first of this past fall's many Iraq war-themed dramas, but like 'Rendition' and 'Lions for Lambs,' it failed to excite moviegoers, earning under 7 million dollars at the domestic box office to date.
Warner will give the film another push this winter with a February 19th cross-format debut on Blu-ray, HD DVD/DVD combo disc and standard DVD.
Extras to be shared among all versions include two featurettes ("After Iraq" and "Coming Home"), and the film's original theatrical trailer.
Both next-gen editions of the film are set to feature identical 1080p/VC-1 encodes. Audio specs and any high-def exclusive supplements have yet to be revealed.
Warner has set a $35.98 list price for the Blu-ray and HD DVD combo editions.
