Warner Home Video has announced an early-June Blu-ray release for the Clint Eastwood hit 'Gran Torino.'
Though pundits had predicted Eastwood's other directorial effort of 2008, 'Changeling,' would prove to be the big hit, it was 'Gran Torino' that clicked with audiences and critics, eventually grossing over $130 million domestically.
Eastwood's tale of racism and redemption will hit Blu-ray on June 9, day-and-date with the standard DVD.
Warner has only issued an early trade alert as of now for the release, so there are no confirmed tech or supplement specs aside from a BD-Live exclusive music video for the film's title song. We'll keep you posted.
Suggested retail price for the Blu-ray has been set at $35.99.
You'll find the latest specs for 'Gran Torino' linked from our Blu-ray Release Schedule, where it's indexed under June 9.
