Warner Premiere has announced a July Blu-ray arrival for its latest direct-to-high-def release, the DC Comics animated anthology, 'Batman: Gotham Knight.'
Featuring the voice of big-screen Batman (Christian Bale), 'Gotham Knight' combines segments written and directed by several different production teams, including the filmmakers behind the live-action 'Batman Begins' and 'Batman: The Animated Series.'
The second next-gen release from Warner Premiere and DC (following 'Justice League: The Final Frontier,' hitting Blu-ray this week), 'Gotham Knight' is due July 8, day-and-date with the standard DVD.
There were no tech specs available at press time, but bonus features are set to include the documentary "A Mirror for the Bat: The Evil Denizens of Gotham City," the "Batman and Me a Devotion of Destiny: The Bob Kane Story" featurette, a pair of bonus episodes from 'Batman: The Animated Series' (personally selected by 'Gotham Knight' director Bruce Timm), and a special sneak peek at the upcoming DC Comics/Warner Premiere animated movie, 'Wonder Woman.'
Warner has set a suggested retail price for the Blu-ray of $34.98.
