Build the next President in the Free 'Saints Row IV: The Inauguration Station'

Players can even import 'Saints Row III' characters.

Two weeks ahead of the zany expansion pack turned full-blown 'Saints Row' title, and publisher Deep Silver has released a free, stand-alone character creator. With the game's developer, Volition wrapping the game up, 'The Inauguration Station' allows players to either import characters from 'Saints Row III' or create new ones from scratch to play in place of the default character. Created characters can be shared online both through the game and through the game's website.

Saints Row IV: The Inauguration Edition' can be found on Steam by clicking the "Download Demo" button on the right. The free character creator is also available for Gold members on Xbox Live, but it appears that PS3 users will have to wait until next week.

In 'Saints Row IV,' the player will live "The American (fever) Dream" by ascending from the leader of the Saints to the presidency of the US, which naturally will involve superpowers, aliens, and the crowd-pleasing dub step gun. 'Saints Row IV' is set to release August 20th for the 360, PS3 and PC, and is available to pre-order.
