Peter Berg's war drama gearing up for Blu-ray later this year has been detailed. You can pre-order it now.
As previously reported, Universal is preparing 'Lone Survivor' for Blu-ray in 2014, and now the date has been set for June 3.
'Lone Survivor,' starring Mark Wahlberg, tells the story of four Navy SEALs on an ill-fated covert mission to neutralize a high-level Taliban operative who are ambushed by enemy forces in the Hindu Kush region of Afghanistan. Based on The New York Times bestseller, this story of heroism, courage and survival directed by Peter Berg ('Friday Night Lights') also stars Taylor Kitsch, Emile Hirsch, Ben Foster and Eric Bana.
The Blu ray will feature 1080p video, a lossless 5.1 soundtrack, and supplements include: Bringing the Story to Light and The Fallen Heroes of Operation Red Wings; as well as a few Blu-ray exclusives including: Will of the Warrior; Recreating the Firefight; Learning the Basics; and The Pashtun Code of Life.
Suggested list price for the Blu-ray/DVD/UltraViolet combo pack is $34.99.
