Norman Jewison's 1999 drama starring Denzel Washington will knock out Blu-ray in January.
In an early announcement to retailers, Universal will bring 'The Hurricane' to Blu-ray on January 7.

In the ultimate fight for justice, The Hurricane is one man's inspirational journey to prove his innocence and gain back his freedom.
The Blu-ray will feature 1080p video, a lossless 5.1 soundtrack, and supplements will include: Feature Commentary with Director Norman Jewison; Spotlight on Location: The Making of The Hurricane; Deleted Scenes: Play with Special Introduction by the Director; Theatrical Trailer and an Ultraviolet Digital Copy.
Suggested list price for the Blu-ray will be $19.98.
