Adding two more titles to its Spring line-up of HD DVD releases, Universal Studios Home Entertainment will bring 'Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind' and 'The Nutty Professor' to the format on April 24.
Both the Jim Carrey-Kate Winslet dramedy and the blockbuster Eddie Murphy remake of the '60s classic will enjoy the usual Universal HD DVD treatment, with 1080p/VC-1 encoded transfers and Dolby Digital-Plus 5.1 surround tracks.
Though complete supplemental details are not yet known, both are expected to include the same bonus features as their standard-def DVD counterparts.
Universal has set a $28.95 list price for 'Sunshine,' and $34.95 for 'Nutty Professor,' which will be a HD DVD/DVD combo release.
We've added both titles to our HD DVD Release Schedule under April 24, and we'll have complete and final specs for you in the coming days.
