Adding three new titles to its HD DVD library, Universal Studios Home Entertainment has announced 'Hurricane,' 'Skeleton Key' and 'Smokey and the Bandit' for May 22 release.
A nicely diverse trio, all three will feature the usual 1080p/VC-1 widescreen transfers and Dolby Digital-Plus 5.1 surround tracks encoded at 1.5mbps.
Extras will mirror those found on each title's standard-def DVD counterparts, including audio commentaries, featurettes and more.
Judging by the box art Universal has released, all three also appear to be HD DVD versions only -- not combo discs. However, as Universal has been known to change their specs before actual street date, configurations for the May wave could change. We'll certainly keep you posted.
All three titles will retail for a suggested $29.95 list price.
You'll find full specs for all under May 8 in our complete HD DVD Release Schedule.
