Two fan-favorite classic comedies are in the works for Blu-ray this August.
In an early announcement to retailers, Universal says 'Dazed and Confused' and 'Fast Times at Ridgemont High' are planned for Blu-ray release on August 9.
Both films have been previously released on the now defunct HD DVD format.
Each Blu-ray will feature 1080p video, a DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 soundtrack, and supplements for 'Dazed and Confused' will include Deleted Scenes, "The Blunt Truth" featurette, The Music of Dazed and Confused, and Retro Public Service Announcements, while 'Fast Times at Ridgemont High' will include Audio commentary with director Amy Heckerling and writer Cameron Crowe, "Reliving Our Fast Times at Ridgemont High" documentary; The Music of Fast Times at Ridgemont High,"Scene Companion" viewing option, and a trailer.
Suggested list price for each Blu-ray is $26.98.
