Voice cast getting dramatic in the high seas.
As much as 'Assassin's Creed III' tapped into the setting of the American Revolution in order to sell the game, 'Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag' is going further in capturing the age of pirates. While the story centers around privateer turned pirate Edward Kenway, there is a whole of group of pirate captains, including the legendary Blackbird, featured in the game.
Four of the pirate captains, including Kenway, are voiced by a swashbuckling group of voice actors, which if Ubisoft is to be believed, take voice acting with no small degree of seriousness. From Ubisoft, "Meet the actors behind the pirate legends within Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag in this vignette. In this video, Matt Ryan (Edward Kenway), Mark Bonnar (Blackbeard), and Ralph Ineson (Charles Vane) dive into the intricacies of the colorful pirates captains that gamers will encounter in in Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag."
The 'Assassin's Creed' series has thus far sold more than 55 million copies, and as the release date nears, 'Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag' looks to continue the trend.
