Game Informer's latest cover may also give us a look at an assassin of native American descent.
There's no definite answer to what we're getting with'Assassin's Creed III,' but at least we have a setting. The game will be taking place in the latter half of the 18th century, during the American Revolution.
The new Game Informer cover not only gives us a look at the setting, but drops a few hints about our protagonist. He - and the pronoun "he" seems like a fair bet - is shown cropping on a rock holding both a pistol and a tomahawk, weapons that define two sides of a significant conflict.
If we want to get into over analysis territory, this could imply that our hero is half American and half native, with the weapons being representations of his desire to embrace both ancestries. Of course, they could also just be two cool things you'll get to use in the game.
