Both games coming this fall.
In this morning's Nintendo Direct, Nintendo dropped details about several games, including 'Sonic Lost Worlds,' 'Animal Crossing: New Leaf,' 'Rayman: Legends,' 'Summer Carnival 92,' and the two new 'Super Smash Bros.' Most notable among the details shared by Nintendo where release dates for two Zelda titles.
'The Legend of Zelda: the Wind Waker HD' is coming to Europe on October 4th, but just has a general October date set for North America. Again Nintendo was quick to point out that some parts of the game, such as the wind waker sailing mechanics are being tweaked so that players do not loss their "sense of immersion." Nintendo is also hoping that fans of 'The Legend of Zelda the Phantom Hourglass' will enjoy playing its predecessor in the 'The Wind Waker HD.'
'The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds' for the 3DS is coming in November and though it is a sequel to 'The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past,' the Link protagonist is "an entirely new Link" and the occurs years after the conclusion of 'A Link to the Past.'
'The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD' is available to pre-order for the Wii U, and 'The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds' is available to pre-order for the 3DS.
