Naughty Dog has officially announced what it is likely the most anticipated last-gen to next-gen port in the era of the PS4/Xbox One, 'The Last of Us Remastered.' Due out this summer, the PS4 version of the 'The Last of Us' is promised to be 1080p with multiple visual upgrades such as higher res character models, improved shadows, and lighting as well as all around retouched environment.
The PS4 version will also include exclusive director's commentary for all in-game cinematics from Creative Director and Writer, Neil Druckmann, Troy Baker (Joel), and Ashley Johnson (Ellie).
Naturally, the PS4 version will also include all currently released DLC, including the 'Left Behind' single player DLC episode, the Abounded Territories multiplayer map pack, and the Reclaimed Territories pack.
Several pre-order bonuses have also been announced such as the following:
100 Supply Points (XP) for use in Factions mode
Two special bonus skins for Joel and Ellie which will be unlocked after your complete the single player campaign
Increased Crafting Speed for use in the Single Player Campaign
Increased Healing Speed for use in the Single Player Campaign
9mm Reload Speed Increase Upgrade for use in the Single Player Campaign
Rifle Clip Capacity Increase Upgrade for use in the Single Player Campaign
'The Last of Us Remastered' is due out this summer and is priced at $59.99.
