Wii U version will be joined by 360 and PS3 retail copies the following day.
Tecmo Koei Europe has announced via Twitter that the sequel to 2010's 'Fist of the North Star: Ken's Rage' will have a Wii U version, and quizzically enough it will only be available through Nintendo's eShop.
Xbox 360 and PS3 versions of the game and its predecessor have all been disc-based, [Edit: 'Fist of the North Star: Ken's Rage 2' will be digital-only for the PS3 in NA] and other AAA titles on the new system's digital store, the eShop, have been accompanied by retail releases, suggesting either a possible mid project decision to create a Wii U version or even an attempt to minimize risk by eschewing the normal retail channels.
As the announcement and dates are specific to Tecmo Koei Europe, a boxed North American Wii U version remains a possibility. The game was released in Japan in December for the PS3 and 360, but the announcement is the first mention of a Wii U version.
