Paramount Home Entertainment has announced plans to bring the second season of the hit series 'Dexter' to Blu-ray in early-May.
The latest TV-on-high-def release from the studio, 'Dexter: The Complete Second Season' will arrive on Blu-ray May 5, day-and-date with the standard DVD. It follows 'Dexter: The Complete First Season,' which Paramount released on Blu earlier this year.
Tech specs will see all 12 second-season episodes in 1080p/AVC MPEG-4 video and English Dolby TrueHD 5.1 Surround audio.
Extras include multiple making-of featurettes, a spate of podcasts, and two bonus episodes each of the Showtime series 'The United States of Tara' and 'Nurse Jackie.'
The set will also come BD-Live-enabled, with additional downloadable content to be announced.
Suggested list price for the Blu-ray has been set at $54.99.
