The 1976 thriller is planned for Blu-ray early next year.
In an early announcement to retailers, Synapse Films will be releasing 'Massacre at Central High' on Blu-ray sometime in 2016.
A keen young athletics student moves to a Californian high school and is shocked to discover that his fellow students are being bullied by a rogue gang. He encourages them to take a stand, but meets much apathy and ends up having his leg smashed-up by the gang. He then decides to get his revenge and begins to wage a violent one-man war against the bullies, disposing of them one by one.
No other details have been revealed at this time except that this release will feature a brand new HD transfer supervised by the director.
