Sherman's pick-six not enough to sway simulated game.
Every year for the last ten years, 'Madden 25' has simulated the Super Bowl and managed 8 of 10 correct winners, including last's years Ravens over 49ers, even down to the flow of the game. Now of course, the series moves its simulation to the Xbox One, and the 'Madden 25' simulation of Super Bowl XLVIII forecasts a first half defensive struggle to the tune of a 10-7 Seahawks lead at the half after a Richard Sherman pick-six.
In the third quarter, Denver rolled to a 21-10 lead, which was extended to 28-13 in the 4th. Two Seattle touchdowns and a 2 point conversion tied the game up and forced overtime. The Denver defense rebounded to force a punt in overtime, and the Denver offense scored the game-ending field goal. Peyton Manning was named MVP after throwing three touchdowns and throwing for 322 yards, while Demaryius Thomas caught 11 passes for 169 yards and a touchdown. Marshawn Lynch ran for 109 yards and a touchdown.
So 'Madden 25' has the Broncos in a close game; the real game, of course, is this Sunday.
