Uncut retrospective from IO Interactive.
Today, Square Enix and IO Interactive released' 'Hitman Absolution: Full Disclosure' an iOS app (iPad only), which serves as a behind the scenes retrospective on last year's 'Hitman: Absolution.' From Square Enix, 'HITMAN ABSOLUTION: FULL DISCLOSURE shows a side of game development that is rarely seen in such uncompromising and unrestricted detail. The app shines a light on more than 250 images and 25 videos that show the discarded concepts, abandoned ideas, early prototype videos and creative exploration that helped to craft HITMAN: ABSOLUTION. The majority of the content has never been seen outside of IO Interactive and is taken directly from the production folders by the development team, who provide an on-going narrative for each of the 40 individual sections.
Tore Blystad, Game Director on HITMAN: ABSOLUTION, "We’re coming full circle here by going back to some of the very earliest ideas and concepts that came out of our explorations and I’m really happy that we get to show this content. We made a conscious decision to dig out a wide selection of things from the data vaults and I think fans will get a real treat here."
The app is available now from the app store for $2.
