Sony BMG has announced it will bring the David Gilmour solo live event 'Remember That Night' to Blu-ray this September, with the set list including several Pink Floyd classics.
When Pink Floyd member Gilmour first announced a new live trek in support of his solo album "On an Island," longtime fans were ecstatic to learn that the guitarist would feature a number of the band's most well-loved songs in the set.
In addition to renditions of Gilmour's complete "On an Island" album, the 23-song setlist from this Royal Albert Hall stop on the tour includes such favorites as 'Wish You Were Here," "Echoes," "Breathe" and a guest appearance by David Bowie on "Comfortably Numb" and "Arnold Layne."
Sony plans to release 'Remember That Night' to Blu-ray simultaneously with the standard-def DVD on September 18.
Tech specs include 1080i video with uncompressed PCM 5.1 surround and Dolby Digital 5.1 surround tracks.
No extras have been announced yet, but stay tuned.
Sony has set a $29.95 list price for the release.
