Sony Pictures has announced an early July Blu-ray release for the hit thriller 'Vantage Point,' which will hit high-def with an exclusive "GPS Tracker" feature.
Starring Dennis Quaid, Forest Whitaker, and Sigourney Weaver in a 'Rashomon'-like tale of a single incident told through multiple perspectives, 'Vantage' Point grossed over $70 million at the domestic box office.
Sony will debut the Blu-ray on July 1, day-and-date with single-disc and two-disc DVD editions.
Sony has not yet announced tech specs, but extras shared between both the Blu-ray and two-disc DVD include audio commentary with the director, two featurettes ("Coordinating Chaos," "Writing the Assassination of a President"), cast & crew interviews, an outtake, and theatrical trailers.
Exclusive to the Blu-ray release will be a "GPS Tracker" graphics-in-picture feature.
Suggested retail price for the Blu-ray has been set at $36.98.
