Sony Pictures Home Entertainment today announced it will bring the $60 million-grossing sleeper smash 'Stomp the Yard' to Blu-ray this spring in a feature-laden special edition.
The hit flick, which mixed a collegiate drama with urban street dancing to big box office, is due in stores on May 15, day-and-date with the standard-def DVD version.
The 50GB dual-layer Blu-ray disc will include Sony's now-standard suite of tech specs, including a 1080p/AVC MPEG-4 transfer and uncompressed PCM 5.1 surround track (at 48kHz/16-bit/4.6mbps).
Extras include a filmmaker commentary, featurette, deleted and extended scenes, and a gag reel.
Retail is $38.96.
