Sony Pictures is bringing the Steve Martin update of 'The Pink Panther' to Blu-ray in late January.
Starring Martin as Inspector Clouseau, the $150 million-grossing worldwide hit will arrive on Blu-ray January 20 (just in time to promote the upcoming theatrical sequel.)
The remake will also hit high-def one week before Fox/MGM releases the original 1963 'The Pink Panther' on Blu-ray January 27.
Tech specs for the 2006 version include 1080p/AVC MPEG-4 video and English Dolby TrueHD 5.1 Surround audio.
The sole announced extra is a Beyonce musical performance of a "A Woman Like Me."
Suggested retail price for the Blu-ray has been set at $28.95.
