Sony Pictures has announced a mid-March Blu-ray release for the Will Smith sci-fi thriller 'Seven Pounds.'
Though failing to reach the same box office heights as most of Smith's previous films, and suffering mediocre reviews, 'Seven Pounds' nevertheless managed to gross over $100 million worldwide.
Sony will release the Blu-ray on March 17, day-and-date with the standard DVD.
Tech specs will see a BD-50 dual-layer presentation with 1080p/AVC MPEG-4 video and Dolby TrueHD 5.1 Surround video.
Extras enjoy an audio commentary with the filmmakers, four featurettes, and deleted scenes.
Exclusive content includes a Digital Copy of the film (in standard-def) compatible with PCs, PSP and iTunes, and BD-Live connectivity.
Suggested retail price for the Blu-ray has been set at $38.95.
