Sony Pictures Home Entertainment will bring the martial arts spectacular 'Curse of the Golden Flower' to Blu-ray on May 29, the studio announced today.
The lavish adventure, starring Hong Kong superstars Chow-Yun Fat and Li Gong, earned an Academy Award nomination for Costume Design and was hailed by many critics as one of the best martial arts epics since 'Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon.'
Sony will give the film the 1080p/MPEG-2 treatment, complete with an uncompressed PCM 5.1 surround track in its native Mandarin Chinese.
Extras are slim, however, with only a making-of featurette and premiere footage included.
Retail will list for $28.95.
Full specs for 'Curse of the Golden Flower' have now been added to our complete Blu-ray Release Schedule, under May 29.
