PS3 players will be happy to find out that 1.6 will be rolled into the update, which means they’ll finally get mounted combat.
The latest update to ‘Skyrim’ is now out on Steam, giving PC players a few fixes to gameplay. It lowers crash rates, fixes some shaders, and solves an animation issue with Vampiric Grasp. The big news though, is what’s coming to consoles.
Xbox 360 owners will find a whole mess of fixes, mainly having to do with Kinect voice recognition. Improved recognition for voice commands is one piece of it, and the ability to speak in French, German, Italian or Spanish is added too.
PS3 players don’t get a ton out of 1.7, except for all the things they should have gotten in 1.6. This includes mounted combat.
The patches will be submitted to Sony and Microsoft shortly.
