Over 50 apps are competing to be the best of the bunch in Samsung's 'Free the TV' contest, and you get to help decide who wins.
Got something to say about the current crop of Samsung apps? Now you can let your voice be heard by voting on your favorite of 57 contenders. The finalists will be shown off at Samsung's CES booth this year.
If you vote for the winning app, you stand a chance to win $50,000 – not a number to sneeze at for a simple voting process.
Among the leading apps right now are 'Armchair Astronaut,' which lets you explore the solar system, 'Khan Academy' which provides free educational programming and 'iMusti' which specializes in Indian music streaming.
