Insomniac is Done with the 'Resistance' Franchise

The company is moving on from exclusive titles to multiplatform games.
Insomniac has been making system exclusive games for Sony since 1996, but they're now breaking out of console exclusivity. The company's upcoming 'Overstrike' will be coming for both the PS3 and Xbox 360 and other future titles are planned for multiplatform release.
This new focus does mean that something has to go though, and that thing is the 'Resistance' franchise. In an interview with Southern Methodist University’s Game::Business::Law Summit today, Insomniac CEO Ted Price said simply, "We won’t be making any more Resistances." Doesn't get much more straightforward than that.
