Three new Elite receivers have been detailed.
Pioneer has revealed the latest additions to its Elite line of AV receivers. The collection includes the Elite SC-LX701, SC-LX801 and SC-LX901.
All three models feature Class D3 (Direct Energy HD) amplifiers and support for Dolby Atmos and DTS:X immersive audio formats. Likewise, the receivers include Pioneer's MCACC (Multi-Channel Acoustic Calibration) Pro with Reflex Optimizer for precise audio calibration and maximized performance from Dolby Atmos-enabled speakers. Each component also offers 4K/60p/4:4:4 24-bit video signal transmission with HDCP 2.2 compliancy and support for HDR and BT.2020. In addition, Pioneer's "Super Resolution" is incorporated as well, letting users upscale HD sources to 4K. High-res audio playback is also supported for high-resolution sound sources (192 kHz / 24-bit) in FLAC, WAV, AIFF and Apple lossless file formats, along with DSD (2.8/5.6/11.2 MHz) and Dolby TrueHD files. Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and AirPlay connectivity are included as well. Finally, Google Cast streaming and FireConnect multi-room audio technology will be available through a future firmware update.
