The crew of the Enterprise will celebrate its 50th anniversary on Blu-ray in February.
In an early announcement to retailers, Paramount is preparing 'Star Trek: Original Motion Picture Collection 50th Anniversary Edition' for Blu-ray on February 9.
Prepare to boldly go where no man has gone before with the 'Star Trek: Original Motion Picture Collection,' an action-packed 50th Anniversary box set featuring the original six films starring the U.S.S. Enterprise's legendary crew. Includes:
· Star Trek: The Motion Picture
· Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan
· Star Trek III: The Search For Spock
· Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home
· Star Trek V: The Final Frontier
· Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country
The Blu-rays will feature 1080p video, a Dolby TrueHD 7.1 soundtrack, and supplements will likely mirror those found on the previous releases.
Suggested list price for the 6-Disc Blu-ray is $49.99.
