Paramount Home Entertainment will bring the Mark Wahlberg action flick 'Shooter' to Blu-ray and HD DVD this July, the studio has announced.
The controversial thriller, directed by 'Training Day' and 'King Arthur' helmer Antoine Fuqua, earned nearly $50 million at the domestic box office this past winter.
Paramount has not yet announced tech specs or supplemental details for 'Shooter,' but the studio is billing the release as a special edition, so we can expect bonus features when the title hits Blu-ray and HD DVD simultaneously with the standard-def DVD on July 31.
Paramount has set a $34.95 list price for the Blu-ray and HD DVD versions.
We'll keep you posted as full specs are announced for 'Shooter,' and in the meantime, we've added new listings for the title to our Blu-ray Release Schedule and HD DVD Release Schedule, under July 31. Watch this space!
