Paramount is bringing 'Defiance' to Blu-ray, setting an early-June arrival for the WWII drama.
Starring Daniel Craig in the real-life tale of four Jewish brothers who join the Russian resistance to fight the Nazis, 'Defiance' earned a little less than $30 million during its fairly brief theatrical run last December.
Paramount will debut the Ed Zwick-directed drama on Blu-ray June 2, day-and-date with the standard DVD.
Tech specs will see a BD-50 dual-layer presentation with 1080p video (1.85:1) and English Dolby TrueHD 5.1 Surround audio.
There are no confirmed extras as of yet, but stay tuned.
Suggested retail price for the Blu-ray has been set at $39.99.
You'll find the latest specs for 'Defiance' linked from our Blu-ray Release Schedule, where it's indexed under June 2.
