Everything you need to start watching 3D movies is available now at select Best Buy/Magnolia Home Theater locations for $2,899.

The whole package starts with the exclusive VT20 television. According to Panasonic, it’s the same as the award winning VT25 in every way that matters. In the $2,899 package, a fifty inch set is included, but if you’re looking to go bigger, it’ll be available in 54”, 58” and 65” sizes soon.

Order 'Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows'

Coming to Blu-ray June 12th

Panasonic’s own BDT300 is the Blu-ray player in the package, and it does everything a 3D Blu-ray player needs to do. It plays 3D Blu-ray discs in 1080p, and it upconverts lower resolution video formats to Full HD. It’s also DLNA compliant, so grabbing video from your computer shouldn’t be a problem.

It all sounds pretty good so far, but disappointingly, Panasonic’s solution only comes with a single pair of glasses. Not bad if you’re in the habit of watching movies alone. If you need an additional set, you’re going to have to shell out $149. Since that’s the amount you’re saving by buying the package rather than purchasing everything individually though, we can’t complain too much.
