PlayStation Plus lands the HD version of the PS2 classic.
There may never be a 'Last Guardian' on the PS3 or any other system, but Team ICO's first game will now be free for PlayStation Plus members in North America.
From Sony, "A young boy is locked away deep in a castle after horns started growing out of his head. After breaking free from his confines, he rescues a mysterious girl from her cage. Together they must escape the dangers of the castle and fend off the shadow creatures haunting their every move."
This version of 'ICO' has been upgraded with widescreen HD support and now has trophies.
Meanwhile, as 'GTA' fever continues, the PSP and PSV compatible version of 'Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories' has also been added to the Instant Game Collection.
"There are a million stories in Liberty City. This one changes everything. Once a trusted wise guy in the Leone crime family, Toni Cipriani was forced into hiding after killing a made man. Now he’s back and it’s time for things to be put right."
The Instant Game Collection is one of the biggest features of PlayStation Plus, Sony's $50 a year service that will be required for online play on the PS4.
